The Orion is a luxury drive away air awning designed for camper vans, but available for vehicles ranging from 180cm to 270cm. It is made of premium HydroTech Cotton Touch fabric that is weatherproof and has a luxurious cotton feel. The awning fits heights between 180cm and 270cm with a zip-on tunnel (sold separately) that comes in three different heights. The drive away feature allows the awning to be used alone or connected to a vehicle and easily disconnected for driving.
HydroTech cotton touch is a heavyweight 300D polyester with a dual coating that provides a 10,000mm hydrostatic head and a soft cotton feel. The fabric is tear-resistant and does not require rip-stop stitching. It is also durable and has good condensation performance.
The Advanced Air System (AAS) is a high specification air tube system designed to provide the benefits of both a multi-inflation system and a single inflation system. It consists of 4 layers for strength and stability. The first layer is the internal bladder that is inflated. The second layer is a dual layer protective cover made of PE and polyester bonded together, with the PE layer reinforced at stress points for extra strength. Finally, there is a sewn-in sleeve in the awning that improves protection and stability by holding the air tube in position.
The anti-weather system includes updates such as extra rain protectors, waterproof toggle points, and dual coated panels for additional weather protection. It can be used in any season thanks to its durable fabric and strong frame. The fabric is UV treated to provide protection and longevity. It is easy to pitch by a single person and has the option to add an annex for extra space. The product can also accommodate a pop-up inner tent. It offers a panoramic view with maximum light and better views. It has a zip-on tunnel for easy attachment to a roll-out/wind-out canopy. The double beading allows for use in 4 or 6mm channels. It is groundsheet ready with a velcro in groundsheet available.
